Where there is increasing demands of industrial computers, there is demands for Windows license. But how much do you learn about Windows fixed lifecycle policy?

In fact, Microsoft offers three phases of product support: Mainstream Support, Extended Support and Beyond End of Support for products for many commercial and some consumer products currently available through retail purchase and/or volume licensing. For license products, today we discuss two kinds of support, which are Mainstream Support and Extended Support.

Mainstream Support
Mainstream Support begins when the product is released and extends for a period of time.( Mainstream End Date )Then Extended Support follows for a period of time with reduced features

Extended Support
Extended Support typically lasts about 5 years after the end of Mainstream Support(Extended End Date). During Extended Support, Microsoft continues to provide security and reliability updates, and bug fixes, but non-security updates are not provided without a paid support agreement.
