The subway BAS (Building Automatic System) system is an automated control system that combines computing and network technology with the principles of automation control. The BAS system is designed to monitor the electromechanical equipments in stations, sections, and tunnels along the entire metro line. The Monitored equipment primarily includes tunnel ventilation systems, station/section ventilation and air conditioning systems, small ventilation and air conditioning systems, air conditioning water systems, water supply and drainage equipment, escalators, elevators, rolling doors, lighting systems, emergency lighting power supplies, and section water supply and drainage equipment, as well as the operating status and system parameters of station public areas and equipment rooms.
Project Description:
The end-user customer is a rail transportation operation and maintenance solutions provider. In order to ensure stable operation of its BAS system and the operator can intuitively check the current working status of the equipment through the human-machine interface device. It requests extremely high demands on the quality and performance of its core computing panel PC unit:
- Super high computing power was required to enable communication with site PLCs and accurately upload screens and data in real time.
- To achieve real-time monitoring of environmental control, lighting, and other equipments in subway stations, ensuring a safe riding environment, stable data transmission from site to the monitoring terminal was required.
- To ensure 24/7 operation in complicate environments, the equipment needed to be suitable for harsh operating conditions.
